will present a lecture by Dana Weiss, Israel鈥檚 Channel 2 chief political analyst and host of the 鈥淪aturday Evening News with Dana Weiss,鈥 Israel鈥檚 most watched news program., on Thursday, Jan. 23 at noon in the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute complex at 新澳门六合彩投注鈥檚 John D. MacArthur Campus, 5353 Parkside Dr., in Jupiter.
Weiss鈥 lecture, 鈥淭he Challenges in Modern World Journalism: Patriotism vs. Journalism,鈥 will address the challenges of modern journalism including the conflicting roles of patriotic identity, journalistic integrity, and the impact of reporting during war-time and election seasons.
Weiss is one of Israel鈥檚 most decorated journalists. She has reported from the frontlines of every major war and political event in the last two decades. She received her first degree from Hebrew University Faculty of Law and her LLM from Tel Aviv University.
