Osher LLI at �°������ϲ�Ͷע Presents the 2021 Winter Lecture Series

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at �°������ϲ�Ͷע in Jupiter will present a virtual lectures series, “The Sally Lapides and Art Solomon 2021 Winter Lecture Series,” via Zoom webinars and include: 

• Wednesday, Feb. 3, “Book Stories,” presented by James Patterson, an American author and philanthropist, and moderated by Taylor Hagood, Ph.D., a professor of  American literature at �°������ϲ�Ͷע. This presentation will examine the fictional characters and series of novels that Patterson has written. This lecture is generously sponsored by Ken and Felice Hassan.��
  
  
• Saturday, Feb. 20, “The Professor’s Professor: The 2020 National Election and U.S. Foreign Policy,” presented by Harry I. Chernotsky, Ph.D., a professor of political science at the University of North Carolina, and Jeffrey Morton, Ph.D., a professor of political science at �°������ϲ�Ͷע. This presentation will explore the foreign implications of the 2020 presidential election. This lecture is generously sponsored by Connie and Jules Kay.��
  
  
• Saturday, March 6, “An Afternoon with Jon Meacham,” presented by the presidential historian and Pulitzer Prize-winning author. This lecture will discuss Meacham’s latest book, “Truth Is Marching On: John Lewis and the Power of Hope,” and is generously sponsored by Bill and Gail Boyan.��
